Cable Car for London (Emirates Airline)
The Emirates Air Line (also known as the Thames cable car or dangleway) is a 10 minute (5 minutes in rush hour) gondola lift link across the River Thames in London, built by Doppelmayr with sponsorship from the airline Emirates. The service opened on 28 June 2012. In addition to transport across the river, the service advertises "spectacular views of the city from heights of 90 metres as you travel between Greenwich Peninsula and the Royal Docks."
